The EBOO protocol

Cleanse and oxygenate your blood.

EBOO, also written EBO2, is advanced blood filtration with medical-grade ozone and oxygen. Physician-supervised, nurse-administered, and finished in about one hour at our San Francisco Marina and Palo Alto clinics.

01The protocol

Your blood, filtered and returned.

EBOO stands for Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation. Two IV lines form a closed loop between you and the machine. Blood leaves through one line, passes through a dialysis-style filtration membrane, and returns through the other. Nothing about the loop is rushed, and it stays closed from start to finish.

Inside the filter, your blood moves alongside fine membrane tubules carrying a medical-grade mixture of oxygen and ozone. The gas disperses across the membrane as blood passes, and what the membrane catches stays in the circuit. Some clinics call the method ozone dialysis. We simply call it EBOO.

02The hour

Five stations, one closed loop.

The whole treatment happens in the chair, in one continuous pass. Watch the loop, then read it station by station.

Settle in

You take a recliner, not a procedure table. Your nurse checks vitals and places two IV lines, one for each direction of the loop.

Blood draws out

A gentle pump draws blood into the circuit. Flow is slow and steady, and your nurse watches it the whole time.

Through the filter

Blood passes through a semi-permeable, dialysis-style membrane. What it catches stays in the circuit, not with you.

Oxygen meets blood

Fine tubules inside the membrane carry a medical-grade mix of oxygen and ozone, dispersing as your blood moves past.

Back to you

Filtered, oxygenated blood returns through the second line. When the pass is done, lines come out and you head back to your day.

Every circuit is sterile and single-use. Your medical team reviews your health history before any treatment is scheduled.

03The goals

What clients come pursuing.

EBOO sits inside a bigger picture: testing, hormones, IV therapy, and the rest of a personalized longevity plan. These are the goals clients most often bring to it.

G. 01

Energy and focus

Show up sharper for work, family, and training blocks.

G. 02

Recovery and performance

Bounce back faster between hard efforts and long weeks.

G. 03

Skin and hair quality

Support the tissues that show wear first.

G. 04

Circulation support

Care for the delivery system every other goal depends on.

G. 05

Immune system support

Give your defenses attention before they demand it.

G. 06

A calmer baseline

Support a healthy inflammatory response over time.

G. 07

Healthy aging

Invest in the decade ahead, not just the week ahead.

G. 08

Clearer thinking

Protect the cognitive edge you built your life on.

EBOO is offered for general wellness support. It is not a treatment or cure for any disease or condition, and results vary from person to person. Your consult covers what is realistic for you.

04The fit

Built for people who optimize.

Your doctor checks for disease. We check for optimization. EBOO draws the kind of client who treats health as an asset to manage, not a problem to react to.

Founders and operators

One easy hour inside a punishing calendar.

Athletes and hard trainers

Recovery tracked as carefully as output.

Longevity planners

Planning in decades, not weeks.

People who feel run down

Something feels off? Start with the free consult.

Screening comes first, every time: pregnancy, certain conditions, and some medications rule EBOO out. If EBOO is not right for you, we will say so and suggest where to start instead.

05Your first visit

An hour that feels like a break.

A clinician goes through goals and history with a client at the consult table

Step one

The free consult

Goals, history, medications, and honest fit. A clinician answers everything before anything is booked.

IV placement on a client's arm before the session begins

Step two

Screening and setup

Vitals, a review of your health picture, then two quick IV placements. Like a standard blood draw, twice.

A client relaxing and smiling mid session in the treatment chair

Step three

The hour itself

The loop runs while you read, nap, or answer messages. Your nurse stays close the whole pass.

A client reviews her aftercare notes at the Biohackr Health front desk

Step four

Wrap up and plan

Lines out, water in hand, clear aftercare notes, and a plan for what, if anything, comes next.

Free consult first, always. It can run the same day as your treatment if you qualify.

06Physician-led

The team behind the protocol.

Biohackr Health is a medical clinic first. The people supervising your EBOO session built careers in medicine long before longevity was a buzzword.
